Getting Ready for Halloween at Stamp Classes this Week!

I saw this cute idea from another demonstrator, Dawn Griffith, and I loved it!! So I adapted the size a little bit (cuz I wanted a little larger 'card'), and did it up for Halloween!!

I love making little treats, but this really got me because of the addition of the little card that is built in to the project too - super nifty! ;)

Here's the inside of the 'card' part. I love the new Spooky Night Designer papers - there are so many cool things that go with it... stamps, framelits and punches, oh my!!

And these treat tubes - Super cute!! They don't hold a ton, but I just love them!!

I hope you'll be at stamp class to make this project with us,

Creation Station Blog Hop - August in My Neighborhood!

Welcome to Creation Station's Blog Hop for the month of August! Our theme this month is 'August in My Neighborhood' - and the first thing that comes to mind for me is family birthdays! And, in particular, we have a lot of male birthdays this month. For me, a masculine card is sometimes a challenge because I feel like simplicity in design is a good idea, but I don't want it to be too boring...

So, for one of the cards I have ready for this month of masculine birthdays, I started with the Happy Birthday Thinlits die. I think this is a 'must-have'!! I die cut it from Silver Foil for the focal point of the card.

Besides the two die cuts that I used for the background of the card front, I also layered the Silver Foil piece onto two more Island Indigo die cuts to give it a little bit of thickness and some added dimension.

I also added two Island Indigo punched balloons onto the background, a subtle but added detail.

And each of the balloons have a Silver Thread for the balloon string - again, subtle, but an added detail!

And finally, a simple greeting inside the card!

I hope you enjoyed your stop here, and I can't wait to see what's happening in the rest of the hop!! Here are your choices from here -

Enjoy,

Four Nugget Treat Box for Stamp Class this Week!

I found this super awesome Treat Box from The Paper Pixie, another Stampin' Demonstrator - and I'm obsessed with how cute and fabulous it is!! It is made from a piece of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (awesome because you get 4 from a sheet). And from that, you make the box...

And you're able to wrap four Hershey's Nuggets - ALL of that with one 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper?! So cool!! And I love the Naturally Eclectic DSP - the color palette is so beautiful!

I hope you'll be at stamp class this week to make one with us!

Super Sweet and Simple Triangle Treat Box for Stamp Class!

We will be making these super sweet Triangle Treat Boxes at stamp classes this week! Although I Love my Big Shot, and all the other specialty tools that help us create treat holders, I Love it even more when I find a simple pattern that only needs a Stampin' Trimmer!! - A few score lines, and cuts - and tah dah, a Treat Holder is made! :)

And we'll be using the fabulous new items from the Coffee Break Suite! I'm so loving all the New Coffee Cafe stamp set, Coffee Break DSP and the coordinating ribbons!

Of course, I found some yummy coffee treats for the inside... And did you notice another new punch we're using on the box??

Hope to see you at class this week,

Creation Station Blog Hop - '2017-2019 In Color'

Welcome to this month's Creation Station Blog Hop, where we are highlighting the 2017-2019 In Colors! I really do Love them all, but I decided to make a card using Berry Burst and Tranquil Tide.

I used the Ribbons of Courage stamp set and the coordinating Support Ribbon Framelits. I received the Ribbon of Courage set as a gift at the last OnStage Local event. At first the framelits weren't a huge 'must-have' when I saw them - and then I noticed the open flower and leaf - LOVE!!

I used touches of silver throughout the card - the new Metallic-Edge Ribbon, a layer of Silver Foil between the Whisper White layers, and the new Clear Faceted Gems (which I think look silver!).

Aren't these flowers so dainty and pretty?! And I think the Faceted Gems are a perfect flower center! :)

I hope you enjoyed your stop, and here are the links for the past and next fabulous stops on the Hop...

Creation Station - Something Old AND Something New!

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop with Creation Station! We are highlighting Something Old and Something New!! Our New Catalog is fabulous - and there's so many awesome New things!! Sometimes I think I get so excited about all the New, that I forget about the 'still so-great' things we have. So I'm excited to share my creations that combine both!!

I LOVE the new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Papers - they are soo beautiful! So I designed a quick card and treat box to highlight the paper, and I used the returning 'One Big Meaning' stamp set for the sayings.

I almost didn't even want to cover any of the DSP with a saying, but I figured a card should have some kind of saying on the front! ;)

And the 'THANK YOU' is a watercolor-type image, I didn't miss on the inking!!

I've used this 'Thank You' many times - any thank you stamp set is a #1 seller for me! And I Love how this one fits just right into the Stitched Circle Framelit (probably my most used Framelits).

I even planned the belly band around the sides of the Clear Tiny Treat Box, so the paper is shown off more!

And yes, I'm sooo glad the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes are still in the catalog - I just love how easy and cute they are to decorate!!

I hope you enjoyed your stop here, and here's what's up with the Hop...

Sweet Cafe Treat Bag for Stamp Class this week!

This is the super sweet project we'll be making for stamp class this week! It's so simple - and it's one of my favorite go-to treat bags to decorate. (And I'll be stocking up on these Petite Cafe Treat Bags because they are on the retiring list.)

One of the coolest things about the project is the NEW stuff we're using on it! The items are from the Eastern Palace Suite, also a Special pre-buy this month you can see HERE. I have seen so many ways to use this new suite of stamps, thinlits, papers... and there are so many options!! The thinlits especially have sooo many different combinations of possibilities.

And when I first saw it, I wasn't so sure, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the New In-Color, Lemon Lime Twist!! It grew on me so fast - the pop of color is just fabulous! And add Melon Mambo with it - :) YES!! It gives a very modern vibe to the Eastern Palace Suite.

I hope you'll be at stamp class this week to make this fun gift bag,

Creation Station Blog Hop - Showers to Flowers!

Welcome to Creation Station's Blog Hop for April!!

Especially here in California, we've had more than our fair share of showers this past couple months - so we are more than ready for lots of flowers!!

I bought the 'That's the Tag Bundle' when the Occasions Catalog came out, and I've been setting it aside, mostly because other holidays came first. But, now is it's time!!

I made a card and a little project - they can go together, but don't have to.

The card is probably my favorite! It took a little bit of time, but it was worth it! I love the 'puzzle-piecing' fun to the Timeless Tags daisy flower die cut!

And I'm obsessed with the Note card and Envelopes lately - so easy and ready-to-go! Just add a few layers and your card is done!

So then I decided to try one of the other tags - I stamped the dotted oval first and die cut the hole-punched tag around it. I ran it through the Big Shot a second time with the 'leaves' - and then added a solid Old Olive cardstock tag behind that.

And the 'secret' Daffodil Delight flowers are from the Blossom Builder and Tree Builder punches.

I made the "Bagged Box" as the base (check back later to see the easy directions on how to make this), and then added a Tagged Cello treat holder inside!

The tag is stamped from the 'That's the Tag' stamp set and then die cut with the Timeless Tags Thinlits (solid oval and leaves details), and I added a solid Old Olive tag behind.

I added those Daffodil Delight flowers from the Blossom Builder and Tree Builder punches.

And, as my mom🙏would have said, I had a 'Happy Accident'. In her words, that's when something is an 'oops', but turns out to be something good! I had tried to add the White Perfect Accents to the centers of the flowers - and then one lost it's white background! So as the white peeled off, I kinda liked it - so, I thought I might as well try and see what the clear center looked like - and I liked it - a lot!! So I peeled the white off the other 'White Accents' and added them to the flower centers using a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it!

I hope you like my projects - and I hope you're excited to see what's up next - my talented friend, Elizabeth Price ~

Or, if you missed the post before mine, check out Jennifer Downey's creations ~

Box-Bag-Basket Treat Holder for Class this Week!

This is the super cute project we're gonna make for stamp class this week! It's named after my awesome friend Liz Price's cute project HERE, the 'Box-Bag-Basket' - a perfect name for this project! You start out making the base of a BOX, wrap it in DSP to create a BAG, and finish it with a super cute and unique handle to make it a BASKET!

And I did make my own simple tag to add to this masterpiece! Simple die cuts and layers tied on for a sweet finish!

And this fabulous handle is the Rick Rack design (also from Liz, HERE) - such a cute finishing design to add that special touch!

Hopefully, you're coming to class to make this cute project! There will be a few different DSP choices form the Succulent Garden DSP pack - so cute!!

Hope to see you at class this week,

Julie B

Creation Station Blog Hop - Boxes, Baskets and Bags Oh My!

Welcome to Creation Station's March Blog Hop - Boxes, Baskets and Bags Oh My! I'm super excited for this - I Love, Love, Love all the little giftie packaging!! It's so fun to wrap up little treats!

I decided to make something simple for St. Patrick's Day! I know most people don't probably do too much, but wear green for the day, or maybe eat or drink something green... But how fun to leave someone special a little treat?

This Baker's Box is the perfect size to package quite a few little goodies. It's about 2" deep and 2-1/2" wide, and sits about 4" tall. - Plenty of room!

Stampin' Up! doesn't usually have much for St. Patrick's Day, but there's always a way to create it ;)
So I used the Party Animal Designer Series Paper for the band around the box - Emerald Envy the perfect color!

The gold medallion piece as well as the hearts (used to make the clover) were thinlits included with the Baker's Box!

I added the Gold Binder Clip with the Emerald Envy Baker's Twine bow for a quick and easy close of the top!

I hope you enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop! Here are the links to either go BACK and see the great work of Cindy Schuster or on to the NEXT with the fabulous Elizabeth Price!!

Enjoy,
